The Tottenham boss was purring after seeing his side hammer QPR on Sunday.
Overseeing an impressive 4-0 win over QPR, managed by former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, Pochettino already seems to be getting the very best out of players that struggled last season, including three of the maligned 'Bale money signings': Etienne Capoue, Nacer Chadli and record signing Erik Lamela.
For the second successive week, the Argentine highlighted the outstanding teamwork on display by his players. And as much as the game with West Ham was hard fought, and at times, owing to luck, the 4-0 win over QPR, Pochettino's first competitive game at White Hart Lane, was anything but.
“It was a fantastic performance,” said the Spurs boss. “We all enjoyed it and we are very pleased because we deserved the win.
“We played like a team. This is the most important thing. It was an unbelievable performance - not only one player, but all the players.
The former Southampton boss reserved special praise for two-goal man Chadli, who made his first start since returning from Belgium's World Cup campaign in Brazil, while also praising the strong pressing tactics that worked so well.
"It was a good performance from Nacer," he added. "He scored two goals and for me, the team was outstanding because we played a good game, we were focused and kept a clean sheet. This is also important.
"We had good possession and when we got into space, we always looked to play forward.
“The options were good, the four goals were all different and that’s important as well for our confidence.”
