Since Redknapp left Spurs the club have had three new managers, including Pochettino, with Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood. One player who has had mixed fortunes under different managers is Emmanuel Adebayor.
Adebayor was unavailable for the midweek win against AEL Limassol in the Europa League, after being given the night off, but he should be back in action this afternoon against his former coach.
He had a tough summer. The Togolese striker suffered with malaria this summer
but looked in top form against West Ham on the opening day of the season, forcing James Collins into a red-card late in the day at Upton Park.
Today is their first game at White Hart Lane this season, and the striker is clearly excited about getting back out in front of his devoted fans...
