Joey Barton slams Arsenal’s new kits – warning: strong language!

Former Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton has his say on Arsenal’s new kits.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton is not one to shy away from airing his opinion in public and has often rubbed up people the wrong way.

This time it is Arsenal who find themselves in the spotlight, as the former Manchester City and Newcastle United star has slammed their new kit.

Watching the GunnersPremier League clash against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday evening, Barton noted that the North London club’s kit is not up to the mark.

The 31-year-old QPR player took to social networking site Twitter to post the following comment and also added his view on how Everton’s new kit looks like:

The design of the Arsenal kit has gone down well with the club’s fans, but perhaps they will be more concerned with the team’s failure to win against Everton on Saturday.

The Toffees went ahead through Seamus Coleman in the 19th minute, and Steven Naismith doubled their advantage on the stroke of half time.

However, late goals from Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud saw the Gunners pick up a point in their quest to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.
