EA are pulling Pro Clubs mode in FIFA 15 for 7th gen, 8th gen versions unaffected

Pro Clubs won’t be available for versions of FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360 according to EA, despite having been a core feature of the franchise for several years running.

With the Pro Clubs mode, players can create a virtual pro and join a club with friends to take part in online matches of up to 11-a-side. EA cite technical limitations and constraints on time as responsible for the removal of Pro Clubs from last-gen. PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of FIFA 15 will continue to offer the feature.

“We’re very confident in the amount of innovation and depth we’re delivering for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360 but there are some things we couldn’t do for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360, either based on the limitations of these consoles, or our time and resources,” EA announced. “Most notably, Pro Clubs will not be a mode in FIFA 15 on Xbox 360 and PS3.”

FIFA 15 launches (with and without Pro Clubs) on 23rd September in North America and 26th September in Europe for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
