CONFIRMED: Real Madrid line-up against Atletico Madrid – Di Maria and Khedira both left out of squad!

Real Madrid will line up against Atletico Madrid without Manchester United target Angel di Maria and Arsenal and Chelsea-linked midfielder Sami Khedira, both of whom have been left out of the matchday squad.

Real Madrid will be looking to get the better of their city-rivals Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the 2014 Supercopa de Espana – the Spanish Super Cup.

Last season’s Copa del Rey and Champions League winners were held to a 1-1 draw by Atletico in the first leg of the tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

Star summer signing James Rodriguez scored his first goal for Real in the 81st minute, but defending Spanish champions Atletico equalised through Raul Garcia late on.

The advantage is now with Diego Simeone’s side, who will be looking to put one over on their more illustrious rivals with victory at the Vicente Calderon tonight.

Atletico won La Liga and reached the final of the Champions League last season much against the odds, and have been written off once again by many football pundits.

Both the Madrid clubs will be determined to win the Super Cup and give themselves a huge boost heading into the 2014-15 La Liga campaign.

Here is how the two teams will line up tonight:

Atletico Madrid XI: Moya; Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Siqueira; Tiago, Gabi; Koke, Garcia, Griezmann, Mandzukic
