Chelsea transfer news: Two clubs fight for Cech, stunning La Liga swoop possible

Stamford Bridge Inside

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Chelsea.

Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco are thought to be at the heart of a battle to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The Czech international has reportedly been forced to consider his future at the Blues following the return of Thibaut Courtois.

Either of the Ligue One sides could do a deal to sign Cech on a season long loan from the West Londoners.

Chelsea are being linked with a potential double swoop on Real Madrid for midfielders Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria.

The pair have both turned down new contracts at the Spanish club and the Blues are one of the clubs linked with both.

However, they will have competition in the form of Arsenal and Manchester United.

Mattia Destro’s agent has revealed the striker doesn’t want to be involved in a swap deal with Chelsea.

Reports yesterday suggested that Fernando Torres could be used in a swap deal to help the Blues land the talented young forward.

“It’s true that Chelsea are interested in Mattia. But the reports regarding a swap deal have no foundation, it’s all speculation,” he said.
