The Tottenham players took part in the challenge sweeping the world on behalf of the ALS Association.
The Ice Bucket Challenge is officially the newest social media craze. Essentially, it is all kinds of people in all walks of life filling a bucket with ice cold water and then pouring it, or getting it poured over their head. Actors, musicians, celebrities and as you can see below, footballers, have all embraced the act, which once done you can then challenge others to do.
Sounds crazy of course but the good news is that it isn't just to cool down in these not so warm late summer days, it's for a good cause, spreading word and encouraging donations to the ALS Association, an organisation who help encourage scientific research into the incurable neurodegenerative disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Two of Tottenham's biggest stars Emmanuel Adebayor and Christian Eriksen have been filmed taking part, with the Togo striker particularly enjoying his bucket. The ex Arsenal and Real Madrid man was picked out by AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari, and went on to nominate Iker Casillas, Didier Drogba and Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji.
Eriksen was nominated by former Liverpool player Ryan Babel, with the playmaker being "iced" at training by Adebayor and midfielder Nabil Bentaleb. The Dane nominated Ajax coach Dennis Bergkamp, actor and singer Simon Kwamm and comedian Martin Hogsted.
Brazilian midfielder Paulinho also took part, and you can expect many others to get involved in the coming days.
