A potential leak to the sequel of Capcom's 2012 Resident Evil Revelations survival horror title appeared online, and it looks to be set in a prison.

Biohazard Revelations is what the first game is known as in Japan, and over on some box art and a screenshot appeared for Biohazard Revelations 2.

Polygon reported on the images sourced from NeoGAF and French site Gamer in A Box. Whilst Capcom has not announced a sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations, the company did 'cite performance of the game as one of its financial highlights last year.'

Originally a Nintendo 3DS game released in 2012, it was later released in 2013 across PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC as a high-def version.

The first game took Resident Evil back to its roots, with the survival horror gameplay which made the franchise famous. Limited ammo,  puzzle solving, and exploration were more prevalent in the game, and it received a decent reception from fans and critics at the time of release.

Twitter account @lifelower also shared the images, although the box art contains the western 'Resident Evil: Revelations 2' title. Have a look at the box art and screenshot below - do you think we'll be hearing an official announcement for the sequel soon?
