A blockbuster deal for Radamel Falcao to sign for Liverpool continues to be touted in the media, with The Mirror among those discussing the rumours.
Italian football pundit Fabrizio Biasin, of TMW, has however warned: "The Juve fans dream of the "Tiger" Falcao. The truth is that the Colombian would be within the reach of the Bianconeri only in the case of Vidal's farewell."
Radamel Falcao is said to be keen on a move away from Monaco, who have suffered a disappointing start to the Ligue 1 season, defeated 4-1 at Bordeaux over the weekend.
The striker is a top target for Juventus, who aim to sign him on a loan deal - but the catch is his salary would still cost them 12 million per season. Monaco then would still also look for a sort of compensatory loan fee to cover his absence for the season.
The finances are only really possible for the Turin side if they sell, having already spent £25 million this summer, and Arturo Vidal is their prize asset currently on the market.
Manchester United have been repeatedly linked to the Chilean, but continue to dally and hesitate over a deal, despite their lack of depth in midfield.
Liverpool's own interest is thought to be held up by Falcao weighing up his options, and Monaco only so far receiving enquiries than any firm offer.
If they are serious and believe it can be done, moving quickly, before Juventus make a possible deal with Manchester United to gain the cash they need to sign the striker, will be a wise move.
