New Liverpool signing Lazar Markovic has had his new shirt number confirmed by the club - the unusual selection of number 50.
The Serbian has worn the shirt number at his previous clubs Partizan Belgrade and Benfica.
To accommodate his request, the Reds have moved Cameron Brannagan, who was previously assigned the shirt to number 32.
Markovic missed the club's Premier League opener against Southampton with a hamstring injury, but the confirmation of his squad number is an illustration he is ready to return to fitness.
Brendan Rodgers confirmed this fact in his post-game press conference, stating: "Markovic is now available, which is great, and Adam Lallana won't be too far away in the next few weeks. The squad is shaping up very well."
How much of a difference maker will Markovic be for Liverpool?
