New Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi hasn't enjoyed the ideal start and he'll be hoping for better corner deliveries than the one Keisuke Honda provided.
It was out of character for the Japan international, who was Milan's goal scorer with a free-kick that went in off the post after beating Diego Alves in the Valencia goal.
Milan trailed when Cristian Zapata made a terrible mistake, gifting the ball to Paco Alcacer, who produced a magnificent lob to score from 40 yards out.
It was on the whole a poor start to life between the Rossoneri posts for Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez who recently signed from Real Madrid.
The result also won't have helped Inzaghi, who has seen more defeats than victories in pre-season after taking over a Milan side hoping to bounce back from a 2013-14 campaign to forget.
However, Milan's Honda provided some light relief with one of the strangest corners ever taken.
