Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal wasted no time in getting out of Turin after landing back there on Sunday morning, jetting off to Monaco.
The in-demand midfielder was given two days off after the club's Asia tour by manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Vidal was spotted at a Monte Carlo casino, with his trip there detailed by users of Juventus forum Tifisobianconeri.com.
The Manchester United linked star was there with his wife, and was reluctant to be photographed inside the casino itself.
Juventus manager Allegri told a press conference upon arrival back in Italy that he hopes to get Vidal back in action soon, after a lack of fitness prevented him from featuring on tour, describing the Chilean as a 'caged lion'.
From a football perspective, Vidal's trip could just be coincidental, but Juventus were linked over the weekend with a loan move for Monaco's Radamel Falcao, by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which would involve the Italian champions paying his €12 million per year wages.
