Manchester United continue to negotiate for Marcos Rojo.
Marcos Rojo appears to be nearing a move to Manchester United, with a number of internet sites jumping the gun claiming a deal is already complete.
The reports stem from respected Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, who claims on his website that an agreement has been reached.
He writes: "Tomorrow he is expected in Manchester. Rojo is ready to sign a four-year contract with an option for a fifth with the Red Devils."
He claims the deal is worth €20 million plus Nani on loan to Sporting Lisbon for one year.
Manchester United are yet to comment on the claims regarding the defender, who returned to training on Monday after going on strike to attempt to force through the move last week.
Portuguese website MaisFutebol write that Rojo's decision to return, has actually helped his chances of a transfer, with the Sporting hierarchy looking more favourably on him.
In a report published after Di Marzio's post, however, they claim no knowledge of a done deal, simply reporting that negotiations between the two clubs are 'ongoing'.
United are in need of defensive reinforcements, and the Argentina international was a particularly impressive performer at the World Cup.
