Manchester City’s squad could be four players lighter by the end of this week according to reports.
Goal claims that Matija Nastasic, Micah Richards, Scott Sinclair and John Guidetti are all able to leave the club if the right offer comes in.
Of the four, Nastasic is likely to attract the most interest, and given his ability it is something of a surprise that City are willing to let him go even with the arrival of Eliaquim Mangala.
Richards has also been linked with the exit for some time, but it will be interesting to see who takes a punt on the defender.
The Bosnia front-man will join a number of his teammates in committing his long-term future to the club.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Dzeko will put pen to paper sooner rather than later.
And finally, City midfielder Samir Nasri has said there is no way back into the France squad at this time.
In quotes published by ESPN, the former France international said, “The horizon is a little bit blocked with (Didier) Deschamps as manager.”
That can only be good news for the Blues, who will have a fresh Nasri to call on directly after the international breaks that are anathema to a number of domestic bosses.
