Chelsea winger Marko Marin has completed a temporary switch to Serie A side Fiorentina.
The Serbian-born German international will start his campaign playing against former teammate Ashley Cole when the Viola take on Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on August 30.
Marin joined Chelsea from German side Werder Bremen in the summer of 2012 for around £6.5 million, but life at Stamford Bridge has been somewhat frustrating for the 25-year-old.
Jose Mourinho doesn't see Marin as having a role in his squad this season and has agreed to let him spend the year in Tuscany.
After completing a medical this time last week, Marin's move was finalised today.
Fiorentina's transfer campaign has been dominated by speculation over the future of Colombian international winger Juan Cuadrado.
The Viola have been prevented from spending heavily while they try and work out whether Cuadrado will make a big-money switch to Manchester United or Bayern Munich.
Marin spent last season on loan to Spanish club Sevilla where he made 18 appearances.
