All the latest summer transfer news from Serie A...
Chelsea's overhaul of their striking options has seen Demba Ba, Samuel Eto'o and Romelu Lukaku leave the club, with manager Jose Mourinho moving to sign Atletico Madrid star Diego Costa and former Blues legend Didier Drogba, but it seems that they aren't done just yet.
According to speculation in Italy, Mourinho is now lining up a bid to sign Roma's Mattia Destro. The former Inter, Genoa and Siena striker hit 13 goals in just 20 appearances for Rudi Garcia's side last season, but has continually been linked with a move away this summer - and West London could be calling for the 23-year-old.
However, Chelsea aren't the only club eyeing up Destro. Premier League and London rivals Tottenham are also believed to be interested in the Italian international as new boss Mauricio Pochettino looks to boost his attacking options. A deal could be difficult though, as the Serie A club reportedly want either striker Roberto Soldado or their former winger Erik Lamela in exchange.
Plenty of players based in Italy have moved to Leeds United this summer after the takeover of Massimo Cellino. Marco Silvestri, Giuseppe Bellusci, Gaetano Berardi, Tommaso Bianchi, Souleymane Doukara and Zan Benedicic have all arrived at Elland Road, and it seems another will be on the way as Cagliari have reportedly given the green light to Leeds' move to sign their 19-year-old Brazilian playmaker Adryan on loan.
Elsewhere, Napoli have been searching for a central midfielder all summer, and have so far been linked with the likes of Lucas Leiva (Liverpool), Marouane Fellaini (Manchester United) and Sandro (Tottenham), but look poised to sign Dutch international Jonathan de Guzman. The Villarreal man has spent the last two seasons on loan at Swansea City, and was subject of interest from QPR, but seems set for Italy.
