Juventus will be heading back to Italy with a 100% record in their pre-season friendly matches and without Manchester United target Arturo Vidal having played a single minute.
The Chile international, who has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, has not fully recovered from his knee injury and sat out the Bianconeri’s clash against a Singapore Selection at New Singapore National Stadium on Saturday.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side did not miss Vidal, though, as they eased past their opponents 5-0. Andrea Pirlo put Juve in the lead after just 17 minutes and doubled the advantage from the penalty spot just two minutes before the half-time interval.
Paul Pogba made it 3-0 three minutes into the second half, Sebastian Giovinco found the target in the 55th minute, and Kwadwo Asamoah rounded up the scoring with 19 minutes of normal time remaining.
More than 25,000 people attended the game at the National Stadium in Singapore, but they would have disappointed if they had wanted United target Vidal to come on to the pitch. The 27-year-old was kept out of Juventus’s starting line-up and was not even named on the substitutes’ bench.

Juventus will now fly back to Italy to continue their preparations for the 2014-15 season in the peninsula, but doubts remain on the future of Vidal.
United are still reported to be keen on the former Bayer Leverkusen star, who could cost the Red Devils as much as £40 million, but time is slowly running out for all parties to reach an agreement.
Is time running out for Manchester United to sign Arturo Vidal?
