Ahead of QPR's Premier League opener with Hull City, the club have confirmed their new squad numbers for the season.

New centre-backs Steven Caulker and Rio Ferdinand will wear no.4 and no.5 respectively, while fellow new recruits Mauricio Isla and Jordon Mutch will wear the no.14 and 17 jerseys.

Loic Remy, Adel Taarabt and Julio Cesar, whose futures have all been speculated on this summer, have been handed the no.19, no.27 and no. 33 shirts.

Meanwhile, Rs boss Harry Redknapp has been discussing Remy's future at Loftus Road, telling reporters:

“We hope he'll stay. He's a fantastic player and his attitude since he's been back here has been absolutely first class. We're hoping he'll be here at the start of the season but you never know.”

Felix Magath has stated that Fulham's £11 million summer-signing Ross McCormack may not be fit for their Championship clash with Millwall.

The Cottagers face Ian Holloway's side at 3pm tomorrow - but McCormack may not be part of the starting line-up.

Elsewhere, Magath also confirmed Fulham's interest in 19-year-old Argentine defender Tiago Casasola.

“He is young player, a great talent, and we are interested in him,” Magath told reporters at a pre-match press conference. “I think he will join us in the next days.

“He’s a central defender and he is, in my opinion, a player who can develop to play in the Premier League and Champions League.”

Fulham have also confirmed the signing of Dino Fazlic on a one-year deal.
