Salomon Kalou is reportedly considering offers from the Middle East.
According to Sky Sports, the Ivorian has been targeted by several clubs in Qatar and the UAE.
However, the 29-year-old is said to want a move back to the Premier League.
Kalou's current coach at Lille, Rene Girard, says the forward has an agreement to leave.
“Salomon has an agreement to leave but he is not really disturbed,” Girard told L’Equipe.
“He wanted to play the opening match of Ligue 1 against Metz but I preferred him to go on preparation peacefully.”
Perhaps now, though, his future may finally be settled, despite his desire to return to the Premier League.
Swansea City's Chico Flores and Pablo Hernandez became the latest footballers to move to Qatar and 29-year-old Kalou could well end up joining them in the Middle East.
The Ivorian spent six years at Chelsea but has been at Ligue 1 side Lille since 2012.
