Rollcoaster Tycoon World Screen 1

The amusement park simulator returns to PC, from Pipeworks Software and Atari, and the new trailer appears to give a glimpse at in-game footage too.

Rollercoaster Tycoon World has been announced by Atari, and it’s coming to PC early 2015. The series is famous for its themepark simulation, where players get to design and manage their own park, creating rollercoasters, placing facilities, rides, and more.

The new addition to the series is said to feature a combo of ‘fan-favorite and completely new’ gameplay, with a new rollercoaster track builder, more rides, and even co-op multiplayer.

The game is being developed by Pipeworks Software, who’ve previously worked on Monopoly for PSP, Deadliest Warrior: The Game for PS3 and Xbox 360, and also Charm Girls Club: Pajama Party for Wii. What this says for the new Rollercoaster Tycoon, only time will tell, but for now we’re just glad a new full-fledged PC iteration is being created. Take a look at the trailer below, which appears to give a glimpse of in-game footage at the 0:29 mark.
