Hideo Kojima has shown off 17 minutes of gameplay from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
The video shows footage of the same mission shown at E3 earlier this year. For a point of reference we have included the original E3 demo below.
The new gameplay footage shows a different approach to the same mission in order to give an idea of the various options open to you in game. These can change depending on time, weather conditions and your chosen route. Also, in the second play-through, the game’s AI has wised-up your opponents. Guards wear helmets to protect themselves from tranquilizer darts, the amount of guards has been increased and your enemies have a helicopter patrolling the area.
The Phantom Pain will be coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, a release date is still to be announced.
Plenty of options in MGS5
