Forgotten Chelsea winger Victor Moses is expected to complete a loan move to Stoke City over the weekend.
Moses signed from Wigan two summers ago but has been lost in the shuffle at the club, and was loaned out to Liverpool last season.
Despite an impressive debut, he failed to win a first team place, harming any hope he had of breaking into the Chelsea side this season.
The Telegraph's John Percy revealed via Twitter that Moses is to undergo a medical at Stoke on Saturday.
The loan switch will likely be too late for him to feature on opening weekend, but Moses will be keen to get going as soon as possible and show the form which convinced Chelsea to sign him originally.
Earlier today, Stoke boss Mark Hughes had said he would not overpay for Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi, who impressed on loan with the club last season.
Liverpool were said to be demanding around £5 million, but the loan addition of Moses would reduce the need for Stoke to bring him, and could scupper the deal entirely.
