Zen Studios' pinball simulator is now available on Microsoft's flagship console, and you can transfer your Xbox 360 tables over for free.

Zen Studios released an update a couple of weeks ago, announcing the delay of Pinball FX2 for the Xbox One. This was due to the devs wanting to allow players to transfer their purchased tables from the Xbox 360 version to the Xbox One version upon release, based on player feedback. They initially stated the game would come out ‘sometime in August’. Well, that ‘sometime’ was yesterday.

Over on Xbox’s Major Nelson’s blog they announced the release of the game to Xbox One, and ‘any available tables’ you’ve bought on the Xbox 360 version previously will ‘transfer over to the Xbox One’ with ‘no additional cost’.

You can download the game now for free on your Xbox One - it comes with the ‘Sorcerer’s Lair’ table at no cost, but any additional tables must be purchased. The tables include Star Wars, Plants vs Zombies, Marvel and more.
