Manchester United have been busy this summer bringing in two big name signings in the form of Luke Shaw for £30 million and Ander Herrera for £28.9 million from Southampton and Athletic Bilbao respectively.
Both represent talented and young individuals - although one got a little less young today. Herrera celbrated his 25th birthday today, looking forward no doubt to his Premier League debut against Swansea City this weekend.
Since his arrival he has impressed Manchester United fans and players in pre-season - with some suggesting that he may indeed be the man to step into the shoes left behind by club legend Paul Scholes. After a season without a Scholes-type controlling midfielder Manchester United fans will be hoping that is true.
Since his arrival two players have helped him thrive at the club, two old friends in former under-21 Spanish international team-mates David De Gea and Juan Mata.
And today, on Herrera's birthday, it seems as though he has been treated to a day off by one of his buddies. Mata posted a picture on his Facebook page suggesting he has been the newbies 'driver' for the day.
United fans will hope Mata does not need to drive Herrera on on the football pitch this season.
