Every day seems to bring more speculation about the future of Arturo Vidal, but the odds on a move to Manchester United point to a deal being extremely likely.
The Chilean star is reportedly the man Louis van Gaal wants to build his new-look Manchester United side around and a bid of £50 million plus could be on its way to Juventus.
The Italian press insist that Vidal is ready to agree personal terms on a mega contract and that his agent is trying to help United prepare the offer that will persuade the Italian champions to let him leave.
Most bookies suspended betting on Vidal to United for periods of yesterday when a number of reports surfaced suggesting he was Old Trafford bound.
When betting re-opened the odds had been shortened massively to the point where it would be hard to make any significant profit out of the bet.
However, there is still some way to go before Vidal becomes United's all-time record transfer and the deal looks unlikely to be completed before the deadline of the Italian holiday of Ferragosto, which falls tomorrow and was initially set by Juventus as the day a decision must be reached by.
