Twitter reaction to Spurs' signing of DeAndre Yedlin: Goodbye Naughton

Tottenham completed their fourth signing of the summer after signing the Seattle Sounders player, who will join up for the start of the 2015/16 season.

Spurs have finally announced the signing of Seattle Sounders' DeAndre Yedlin, for a transfer fee reportedly around $4 million. The 21-year-old will spend the remainder of the MLS season with the Sounders, as well as a portion of the next campaign, before linking up with Spurs next summer.

Despite only making his international debut for the US this year, Yedlin really impressed during the World Cup in Brazil, and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would have had a further chance to take a look at the youngster when the clubs met in Seattle last month.

Yedlin revealed he had spoken to his international manager, Jurgen Klinsmann, prior to the move, and that the Spurs legend's approval and encouragement regarding the switch to White Hart Lane was a big selling point.

With the fullback not arriving until next year, there will be plenty of debate about what will happen to Tottenham's existing right backs until then, with Kyle Walker signing a new contract last autumn but suffering from pelvic problems, and Kyle Naughton's performances being regularly questioned.

Spurs fans took to Twitter to have their say on the club's new signing. Below we have a selection of what some had to say:
