Tottenham completed their fourth signing of the summer after signing the Seattle Sounders player, who will join up for the start of the 2015/16 season.
Spurs have finally announced the signing of Seattle Sounders' DeAndre Yedlin, for a transfer fee reportedly around $4 million. The 21-year-old will spend the remainder of the MLS season with the Sounders, as well as a portion of the next campaign, before linking up with Spurs next summer.
Despite only making his international debut for the US this year, Yedlin really impressed during the World Cup in Brazil, and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would have had a further chance to take a look at the youngster when the clubs met in Seattle last month.

Yedlin revealed he had spoken to his international manager, Jurgen Klinsmann, prior to the move, and that the Spurs legend's approval and encouragement regarding the switch to White Hart Lane was a big selling point.
With the fullback not arriving until next year, there will be plenty of debate about what will happen to Tottenham's existing right backs until then, with Kyle Walker signing a new contract last autumn but suffering from pelvic problems, and Kyle Naughton's performances being regularly questioned.
Spurs fans took to Twitter to have their say on the club's new signing. Below we have a selection of what some had to say:
I like the signing of @yedlinny looked a top talent in the World Cup, would of liked to see him play for us sooner though.— View From The Shelf (@ShelfHeavenHell) August 13, 2014
Can't see the value of loaning DeAndre Yedlin back to Seattle for the rest of the season personally. Sooner he comes, sooner Naughton goes.— Raj Bains (@BainsXIII) August 8, 2014
Yo, don't come and become a Kyle walker. I know ya fast, run with sense. @yedlinny— Åñbï (@jawshuewar) August 13, 2014
Never had an EPL team to root for. Now its got to be SPURS since @yedlinny signing. Always support someone who works hard and plays all out.— Jacob Newgard (@itsnewgs) August 13, 2014
Good signing DeAndre Yedlin had a very good World Cup will put Walker under big pressure next season and only 1 more year of Naughton!— Steven Roberts (@steroberts_1985) August 13, 2014
