The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus to star in new Silent Hills game

Norman Reedus Silent Hills Screen PT 1

Directed by creator of the Metal Gear games, Hideo Kojima, and Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro, the game is the first in the series since 2012.

During Sony’s Gamescom press conference yesterday they showed a teaser trailer of the world’s first ‘P.T’ (Playable Teaser) that was released on the PlayStation Store on PS4. This trailer is below, and shows people playing the P.T., with one screaming rather dramatically.

In the video below from Soapy Warpig’s YouTube channel, you can watch the entire playable teaser, which shows The Walking Dead actor, Norman Reedus, at the end - just after showing Hideo Kojima's, and Guillermo del Toro’s names.

Hideo Kojima is most famous for creating the Metal Gear games, and has previously expressed interest in the Silent Hill series, especially using the FOX Engine to create his own version. Guillermo del Toro is a well-known movie director and producer, creating such films as Pacific Rim, Hellboy, and Pan’s Labyrinth. Two highly acclaimed professionals within their own fields working together - we’re interested to see where the duo take the Silent Hill franchise.

No announcement has yet been made for Silent Hills with regards to a release date or platform.
