Arturo Vidal has done little to stop the speculation surrounding his future by signing another Manchester United shirt on Juventus’s tour of Australia.
Vidal was pictured in Sydney, where Juventus have been playing during pre-season, giving his autograph to a lucky United fan who had handed him a jersey to sign.
The Chilean smiled when asked if he was leaving Juve to join United this summer, according to the Twitter user who posted a picture of the autograph he got on the social media site.
It is the second time that Vidal has signed a United shirt during Juventus’s pre-season preparations and following the media circus after the last time he did it he surely knew exactly what he was causing be repeating the action.
It add further fuel to the rumours that he is set to join Old Trafford, with reports today surfacing that Juventus are starting to prepare for life without him.
The 27-year-old is thought to be of interest to new United boss, Louis van Gaal, after a series of excellent performances in Serie A and at the World Cup over the summer.
The Red Devils are known to be on the hunt for a central-midfielder and the signing of Vidal, widely regarded as one of the finest players in that position in the world, would be a real statement of intent ahead of the coming season.
Van Gaal has been tasked with getting United back into title contention, after they slumped to a seventh placed finish last year and the initial signs have been encouraging.
United have remained unbeaten during their pre-season campaign so far and there is a lot of anticipation around Old Trafford already.
If they were to sign Vidal, though, this excitement would only grow and they is sure to be more rumours sparked from his second signing of a United shirt.
