Chelsea legend Didier Drogba made his return to Stamford Bridge as a Chelsea player for the first time in two years.
The Ivorian was not involved in the 2-0 win over Real Sociedad, but turned up in full kit for a pre-match presentation to the fans.
Drogba returned to Stamford Bridge with Galatasaray in the Champions League last season, but this is the first time he has been seen at the ground in a home shirt since May 2012.
The 36-year-old was rested after picking up an ankle injury against Ferencvaros on Sunday, but showed no ill signs of heavy strapping, and while the severity is unconfirmed, he early signs look positive.
Drogba watched on as new signing, and the star he will be backing up, Diego Costa, netted twice in front of his new home fans - including a goal in the opening minute.
