The match is to be manager Louis van Gaal’s first game in charge at Old Trafford.
In team news, Adnan Januzaj, Marouane Fellaini and Robin van Persie will all miss the clash with the La Liga outfit at Old Trafford. De Gea; Jones, Smalling, Blackett; Young, Fletcher, Herrera, James; Mata; Rooney, Hernandez have all been named as starters.
However, Adnan Januzaj will reportedly be handed the No.11 shirt previously occupied by United hero and legend, new assistant manager Ryan Giggs.
New signing Luke Shaw is ‘relishing’ his Old Trafford debut after what he described as a ‘crazy’ start to his United career.

The BBC, meanwhile, report that Marcos Rojo has now handed a transfer request in at Sporting Lisbon and told the club he wants to join Manchester United, following the club's bid.
