Brazilian defender Filipe Luis is looking forward to the new season ahead, having sealed his £16 million switch to Chelsea last month.
The left-back pushed hard for a move from Atletico Madrid, and has been discussing his motivation for leaving the La Liga champions.
The defender is quoted by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo: "Fear of change always exists, especially when it is well as I was. But I never stopped having ambitions.
"(I wanted) a new challenge in my life and this was one of the main reasons that led me to change my country. I had other offers, but from the moment that Chelsea entered the race I did not think twice, (it) was always my priority.
"And working with Jose Mourinho is a dream. It was very easy to decide.
"Wherever Mourinho goes he is champion. This is the main factor. During the last year he failed to win anything and we know that the demand will be huge. He is the first requiring the maximum from players. I played against him and I know how hard it is."
His comments that Mourinho will be even more motivated for success this coming season are on the mark, for it is two successive seasons now he has failed to win silverware, with a barren last year for Real Madrid.
He has certainly acted like he is motivated this summer, signing three proven winners in Luis, Diego Costa and Fabregas - and it would not be a surprise to see him add more before deadline day arrives.
