Chelsea winger Marko Marin is on the verge of yet another loan move, as it has been confirmed that the Germany international is having a medical at Italian club Fiorentina.
It emerged late on Sunday evening that the 25-year-old will move to the Serie A outfit on a season-long loan deal, with the Viola having the option to sign him on a permanent contract next summer for a transfer fee of £4.2 million (click here to read more).
It has now been confirmed that Marin is indeed on way to joining Fiorentina, as the club posted the following picture of the German having a medical on Monday morning on social networking site Twitter.
It has not been officially stated if Marin will move to Fiorentina on loan or on a permanent basis, but that announcement is likely to be made later today.
Marin joined Premier League giants Chelsea from Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen in the summer of 2012 for a reported transfer fee of €8 million, but he has failed to make any significant impact at Stamford Bridge.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach star played on loan for Spanish club Sevilla last season.
