Chelsea-owned Lucas Piazon ‘very happy’ at Eintracht Frankfurt

Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon is delighted to have made his debut for his loan club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Lucas Piazon has been on the books of Chelsea since 2011, but the Brazilian youngster has played just one Premier League game for the Blues so far.

The 20-year-old is a very talented player with loads of potential, and in the 2014-15 campaign he is expected to tap into that while on loan at German club Eintracht Frankfurt.

The youngster played for Dutch outfit Vitesse on loan last season and had an overall fruitful time in the Eredivisie, scoring 11 goals in 29 league appearances and helping them finish sixth in the table.

Piazon will hope to continue his good run of form and his development in the German top flight, and he looks to be on track for that.

The former Sao Paulo youngster made his home debut for Frankfurt during their 3-1 victory over Italian club Inter Milan in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.

In fact, Piazon actually scored the equaliser for the Eagles against the Nerazzurri in the 26th minute.

Frankfurt went on to win the match 3-1, and after the contest Piazon took to social networking site Twitter to hail his new club’s supporters.

Piazon also posted the following picture on Instagram with the message: ‘Debut at home with a good win against Inter Milan, pic with my bro Haris’.

The Chelsea youngster appears to be enjoying himself in his new surroundings and looks set for a good campaign.

The 2014-15 season could prove to be decisive in whether he remains on the books of Chelsea or not in the future.
