Ubisoft’s historical action adventure joins the distinguished ranks of video games to get remade into board games.
Assassin’s Creed is to get the Monopoly treatment, with a board game merging the two franchises on route from gaming company USAopoly.
The company in question has secured special permissions from Hasbro to create and sell licensed versions of their board games. Previously USAopoly has turned Lord of the Rings, The Walking Dead and World of Warcraft into table-top Monopoly games.
Their latest venture focuses on Assassin’s Creed, with a Monopoly game taking inspiration from events and characters spanning the entire series of video games.
With Assassin’s Creed Monopoly you’ll be trading in Abstergo credits and board locations will be based on those from the games. The two most valuable locations, (Mayfair and Park Lane in the UK version) are now Abstergo Industries and Abstergo Entertainment.
The playing pieces will represent protagonists from the Assassin’s Creed games with Ezio, Altair, Connor, Edward, Assassin’s Creed: Unity frontman Arno and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation’s heroine Aveline all available.
Assassin’s Creed Monopoly is set for a November release in the US.
