Chelsea have continued their trend of sending top young talent out on loan to Europe this summer. One country in particular that has been targeted as a destination is Germany, with Thorgan Hazard, Tamas Kalas and Oriol Romeu all off to play in the Bundesliga.
Another name making the way to Germany is Brazilian Lucas Piazon.
The young talent had a difficult 2014, struggling for form and losing his place at previous loan club Vitesse Arnhem but before that he was in great form and registered impressive figures for the club last term, scoring 11 goals in 29 games.
This season he will be plying his trade for Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Bundesliga side are optimistic of challenging for Europe this season, and judging by their result today, that doesn't seem far-fetched.
They took Italian giants Inter Milan to the cleaners in a pre-season tie, with Piazon scoring their first goal, before a brace from fellow newbie Haris Seferovic made the final score 3-1 to the Germans.
Chelsea and Eintracht fans will hope this is the start of a good campaign for the immensely talented Brazilian dubbed 'the young Kaka'.
Will Piazon be a hit in Germany?
