It has been a relatively busy week for Dutch international Memphis Depay. He saved the day for PSV Eindhoven against Austrian second tier side SNK Polten in the Europa League by scoring and changing the game - after which SNK's manager wanted his shirt!
He has also been doing the rounds in the transfer market. Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a move for PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay in recent weeks - with reports of a £15 million bid emerging last week.
The flying winger shone at the World Cup this summer and Tottenham were not the only team keen on his services - with Manchester United also mentioned.
However PSV went on to tell Sky Sports that there had been 'no contact whatsoever' from Tottenham and that they 'expect Memphis to stay' at PSV.
PSV are now trying to offer him a new contract and Depay looks set to remain at the club this season, and they certainly need him.
PSV got their Eredivisie campaign underway this afternoon, facing Willem II in Tilburg. And they won the game 3-1 thanks to a brace from Depay and an opening goal from Jurgen Locadia...
