Liverpool fans were on cloud nine after their huge win over Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
Goals from Daniel Sturridge, debutant Dejan Lovren, Philippe Coutinho and Jordan Henderson handed Brendan Rodgers' side the emphatic win - and the manner in which they stormed to victory was rather eye-catching.
None of the speed or fluency of last season seemed lost, while the Reds looked as clinical in front of goal as a team halfway through a league campaign.
Coutinho, in particular, was superb, while the likes of Sturridge, Raheem Sterling and co. threatened every time they got on the ball.
And the victory seems to have got Liverpool fans thinking.
After the £75 million sale of a certain Luis Suarez this summer, many critics have suggested that the Reds will struggle to match the achievements of last term without the Uruguayan.
But, although it was just a pre-season friendly, Liverpool's 4-0 win against Dortmund suggested otherwise. The Kop was rocking and some Reds fans even went as far as to say 'Suarez who?'
Rodgers is still reportedly looking to replace the 27-year-old but, while Sturridge is fit, the Northern Irishman's side looks to be doing just fine without a Suarez successor - or indeed the striker himself.
Liverpool play the same way as last year. Suarez or no suarez brendan has changed us.— lee treble (@treblinho11) August 10, 2014
