Iago Aspas says what all Liverpool fans are thinking about Philippe Coutinho

The Spaniard, who has been sent to Sevilla on loan this season, was full of praise for the Brazilian playmaker.

He may not be a Liverpool player this season - but Iago Aspas is still keeping a close eye on proceedings at Anfield.

For, after all, the 27-year-old could one day end up back on Merseyside should he impress in Spain.

At the moment, it is another player particularly impressing for the Reds - and Aspas himself hasn't failed to notice.

Tweeting after his parent club's 4-0 win against Borussia Dortmund, the Spaniard was full of praise for Philippe Coutinho.

And no wonder, the Brazilian scored, registered an assist and enjoyed a superb all-round performance.

For once, Aspas seems in tune with the rest of the Kop, as Reds fans have had nothing but praise for Coutinho this summer.

The Brazilian enjoyed a strong showing for Liverpool last term but lacked the consistency to produce his very best form week in week out. Could things be different this term?

Meanwhile, another talent within Brendan Rodgers' squad, Raheem Sterling, also tweeted after the huge victory over Dortmund, looking ahead to next week's Premier League opener against Southampton at the same time.
