Manchester United's pursuit of Arturo Vidal has not yielded any progress over the weekend, but reports in Italy suggest action may be afoot.
He was left out of Juventus' starting XI for their fixture in Australia on Sunday morning, and did not feature on the substitute's bench either.
To add to the controversy, Vidal was photographed signing a Manchester United kit presented to him by a fan, even while wearing his Juventus tracksuit.
Whether he knew what he was signing or not is unclear, but if he did, it adds fuel to the fire regarding a much-discussed transfer to the Red Devils.
The incident was reported by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who write that Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich is back in the UK this weekend.
They add that United are interested in offering as much as 60 million Euros for his services, but no formal offer has yet been submitted.
