Manchester United target Arturo Vidal is still not at full fitness.
Manchester United target Arturo Vidal is still not participating in full training with his Juventus teammates as he attempts to reach full fitness.
The Chilean international played through a knee injury at the World Cup, and United boss Louis van Gaal has reportedly been holding off on sanctioning a big money bid due to his concerns over the midfielder.
Vidal has travelled across the world to Indonesia and Australia on the Juventus pre-season tour, but is yet to play a single minute, not even named on the bench in the two matches.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri said at the weekend he is 'confident that he will be in perfect shape within a week or so.', but for now the midfielder is out of the picture.
This would ensure he could potentially play a part in the final Juventus tour game in Singapore on Friday.
At present however, Vidal is training alone. Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Sunday that the midfielder is growing distanced:
"Vidal is on tour with Juventus, but these days almost seems to live in a separate case."
Vidal added to the speculation over his future by signing an autograph for a supporter, on a Manchester United shirt presented to himself by a fan in Australia.
There remains real uncertainty surrounding his future at the club, and for the sanity of all confirmed, it is time for the Red Devils to front up the money for his signature or move on.
