Juventus continued their preparations for the 2014-15 season with a victory, while Manchester United target Arturo Vidal continued to recover from his injury.
The Chile international midfielder joined the Italian champions’ squad for their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia earlier this month, despite a niggling knee problem.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star picked up the injury before the World Cup but still played in Brazil, but he is not being rushed back by Juventus.
Which is why Vidal, who has been strongly linked with a €60 million move to United this summer, was left out of the Bianconeri team that beat the A-League All Stars at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Sunday.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri did not name the 27-year-old either in the starting line-up or on the substitutes’ bench, but that did not stop the Italian champions from edging past their opponents 3-2.
It was the All Stars team who surged ahead after just nine minutes when Marcelo Adrian Carrusca found the target. However, Juventus restored parity just before the hour mark when former Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente headed home.
Tomi Juric made it 2-1 to the hosts in the 77th minute, but late goals from Paul Pogba and Simone Pepe saved the former European champions’ blushes.
Juventus will now fly to Singapore for yet another pre-season friendly, but Vidal is unlikely to feature in that game as things stand at the moment.
