Yesterday saw Chelsea take part in a mini-tournament in Istanbul, with the proceeds going toward the families of the Soma mine disaster - which saw 301 people tragically lose their lives.
Didier Drogba, who was playing for Galatasaray at the time, was one person deeply affected by the incident, and he featured for Chelsea along with Besiktas and Fenerbahce in the short form round-robin tournament.
Chelsea beat Fener but lost to Besiktas in their games, Besiktas ultimately emerging as the winners, and it was of course a chance for a former Blue to try get one over on his old team-mates.
Chelsea flogged Demba Ba to Turkey this summer for a fee in the region of £8 million. Ba never truly cemented his place in the Chelsea first-team since arriving from Newcastle United and with the arrival Diego Costa this summer his first-team opportunities dwindled further.
Yesterday though he was welcomed by most of his former Chelsea buddies, especially Eden Hazard, who was a good friend of Ba's whilst at Stamford Bridge.
He also got to play against a former team-mate in Moussa Sow. The fellow Senegalese was an ex team-mate at Lille and is now at Fenerbahce - and Hazard shared a picture with his 'brothers' on Instagram last night.
He also had a go at interviewing Ba in what was a good atmosphere in Turkey - for a very good cause.
