Metro Redux video shows how remastered games should be done

Metro Last Light

4A Games look to be setting the benchmark for how games should be remastered for the new generation.

The latest video for Metro Redux from Deep Silver shows exactly how the devs are remastering the graphics and gameplay of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light for the current gen consoles and PC.

4A Games, the developers of the Metro series, are bringing the Metro Redux remastering to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 29th August. The package includes both Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, but they can also be purchased individually too.

Of the improvements outlined in the video below you can expect 60 frames per second on your PS4 and Xbox One. PC owners can also take advantage of 4K resolution and other improvements, if their rig allows.

AI, weapon handling, stealth, and other features have been improved too. Added secrets and hidden areas have been implemented. Basically, the game is bigger, better looking, and has improved game mechanics – and it looks and sounds brilliant. Check out the video below.
