Reports continue to gather pace regarding Arturo Vidal's move to Manchester United, even while he is on the other side of the world in Australia.
That makes imminent talk of a medical seem preposterous, but Juventus are said to have handed United an ultimatum.
Growing frustrated with the Red Devils, they are said to have urged United to make up their mind and decide quickly.
Italian website calciomercato report: "To Manchester United, Juventus made it known: "Decide quickly."On the basis of a specific request: €50 million, not one penny less."
They add that Vidal has made up his mind and wants a transfer, having received word of a contract offer which would double his wages.
"The ultimatum in reality would be routed to the Red Devils, because the player actually has already decided his future : he wants to play at Old Trafford."
Juventus are naturally reluctant to sell Vidal, but know doing so for a big price would be of huge overall benefit to the club.
What they clearly do not want, is to receive such an offer on deadline day, when they will have no time to try to sign their own targets.
Juventus are said to want to sign a centre-back and a forward, and the Vidal money would allow them to do that, as well as but long-term target Fredy Guarin from Inter in midfield.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is said to have held off on a deal so far, due to concerns over the player's knee.
