West London latest: New QPR target emerges, McCormack makes Leeds claims

The latest transfer news from Queens Park Rangers and Fulham.

According to reports in France, a new target has emerged for QPR in Guingamp midfielder Younousse Sankhare.

Harry Redknapp's side are said to have tabled a £1.6 million bid for the Frenchman, who has been capped by the France U-21 side.

The Rs, of course, have already made two new signings this week, with Jordon Mutch being confirmed as a QPR player on Tuesday, while Mauricio Isla was unveiled yesterday.

The Juventus man, who can play both in midfield and defence, revealed his excitement at the prospect of moving to west London after signing.

QPR are still believed to be looking for a striker but have reportedly dropped their interest in Norwich City and Netherlands midfielder Leroy Fer.

Summer signing Ross McCormack has revealed that he left Leeds for Fulham because his ambitions were 'going in a different direction' to his former club.

The 27-year-old also says he will remember getting promoted with the Cottagers more than he will getting paid a high salary.

"With me and Leeds our ambitions were going in different direction," he told MarathonBet.com, who sponsor Fulham.

"I felt as if my time was up there and I was lucky to have a club like Fulham just coming down from the Premier League who wanted me that much.

"People talk about footballers being motivated by money but I would like to look at it at the end of my career and put my finger on this point where I helped Fulham get back to the Premier League. I will remember that more than what I was earning."

Fulham's new season is now just two days away, as Felix Magath's side face Ipswich Town in the Championship on Saturday evening (5.15pm kick-off).
