World of Warcraft celebrates its 10 year anniversary this November and to mark the occasion Blizzard will be holding some celebratory events.

A special Team Deathmatch-style Battleground will be running, based on the early days of WoW PVP at Tarren Mill and Southshore, “However, unlike the old days of Tarren Mill vs. Southshore, there will be a clearly defined victor, so you’ll need to work as a team or face crushing defeat,” Blizzard said.

A 40 player Raid Finder revisit to Molten Core will also be running for level 90 players to get involved in. An achievement and a special Core Hound mount are on offer for those that take out Ragnaros.

Molten Corgi

To anyone logging in to WoW throughout the 10th Anniversary celebrations, a Molten Corgi mini-pet is also available.

As yet, Blizzard hasn't given a time for the celebrations but more details are promised soon.
