Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Spurs to wait for Schneiderlin and Rodriguez, Depay bid on?

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham will reportedly wait to try and do deals for Southampton pair Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez.

The Saints have insisted the pair will both be their players when the summer transfer window closes and reports are suggesting Spurs will wait to try and do deals.

"Tottenham's £10m Schneiderlin bid was also well short of the sort of value Saints had received for other players. You cannot begin a Premier League season with half of your starters disgruntled," said Krueger.

The Express claims Tottenham Hotspur are close to bidding for £15 million rated winger Memphis Depay.

Depay has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, after performing positively for Louis van Gaal in the Netherlands side at the World Cup.

However, he has previously said that he’s content to stay at PSV Eindhoven if the right opportunity doesn’t come up.

Tottenham continue to be linked with a move for Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio.

The latest reports suggest that a deal for the defender could be agreed before the end of this week.

Should Spurs complete a deal, it’s likely to cost them at least £17 million, with some reports having suggested that could reach £20 million.
