An obligatory launch trailer accompanies the release
Originally announced over a year ago, Road Not Taken takes direct inspiration from a Robert Frost poem of the same name. The game has you playing as a Ranger moving through a procedurally-generated snowbound forest solving puzzles, encountering woodland creatures and saving stranded children.
In the words of SpryFox co-founder, David Edery, Road Not Taken is “a game about life’s surprises, both positive and negative.”
Road Not Taken is currently up on Steam with a 20% off launch sale bringing the price to £9.59 ($11.99). For PlayStation Plus subscribers the game will be available to download free as part of August’s instant game collection offerings.
