Blizzard to hold special event to showcase Draenor which you can watch live on WorldofWarcraft.com

World of Warcraft’s next major expansion, Warlords of Draenor will be the focus of a Blizzard-run event to be held next week in which a new cinematic and official release date will be revealed.

The event will take place on 14th August at 9.30am PDT (5.30pm in the UK) in the Ace Theatre in Los Angeles. Attendees at the event will be given beta keys for Draenor.

Those unable to make it in person will be able to watch the event live on WorldofWarcraft.com

“A storm of iron is headed Azeroth’s way—be among the first to witness its fury at the world premiere of the Warlords of Draenor cinematic,” states a post on Battle.net, “Join Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime, Chris Metzen, and World of Warcraft designers Ion Hazzikostas and Brian Holinka for the grand unveiling, streamed live from the Ace Theatre in Los Angeles. But that’s not all—we’ll also host a live interview with the WoW developers, announce the Warlords of Draenor launch date, and debut the first episode of a new animated lore mini-series: Lords of War. You won’t want to miss it!”

Warlords of Draenor will be bringing increased polygon character models as well as extending the level-cap to 100, adding player Garrisons and bringing in new dungeons.

It has also recently been revealed that the Alliance will be getting in-game bikes following the Draenor launch, a transport add-on originally only gifted to the Horde team following the Azeroth Choppers competition.
