What Alberto Moreno is willing to do to force Liverpool transfer

Sevilla left back would take a pay cut to ensure his desired move to the Premier League club can go smoothly according to latest Liverpool transfer news.

Such is Alberto Moreno's ambition to join Brendan Rodgers' revolution at Liverpool, he would even take a pay-cut to ensure it happens, according to reports from Spain.

Rodgers has been one of the most active players in the summer market having ratified deals for Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi.

However, the Ulsterman could add a further two players to his roster before the Premier League campaign begins - and he is seemingly occupied with Moreno.

The 22-year-old - who made 73 interceptions, 52 tackles and 44 clearances from 27 La Liga starts last term - could switch clubs "in the next few days", write MARCA, who note that the player "is said to be ready to lower the terms of a deal already agreed on with [Liverpool]" so that he can swiftly conclude the transfer.

The terms of the personal negotiations are, at this stage, unclear. However, his transfer fee is expected to cost Liverpool £15.85 million.

Once concluded, Rodgers may then move for right back Javier Manquillo, who underwent a medical examination yesterday, Monday.
